The Observatory on Latin America of The New School hosts Nestor Kirchner, the Secretary-General of the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR), and former President of Argentina. 

 

Secretary-General Kirchner will discuss UNASUR’s progress, and how the organization can address South America’s unique challenges and opportunities. Founded in 2008, UNASUR is a transnational organization of South American states, focusing on integrating and promoting development throughout the region.

 

Admission is free, but reservations are needed.
