Spring Research Methods Workshops

This spring the GPIA will offer three research workshops - one each in ethnography, survey research, and policy analysis. Each workshop comprehensively introduces one of these critical methods in social science research.

These workshops are optional and are not for credit. You may register for one, two, or all three sessions.

You must pre-register for these workshops. Register at least one week prior to the workshop date by going to the event pages below and clicking the "Sign-Up for Workshop X" link at the bottom of the page.

Research workshops will be taught by Nicole Oretsky. Dr. Oretsky is an ethnographer and policy analyst currently studying housing policy. Her main areas of interest include ethnographic research methods, policy evaluation, political economy, social justice, housing rights, and livelihoods. She holds a PhD in Urban Policy from the Milano Graduate School for Management and Urban Policy, the New School.
