Candidate: William Ward


Dr. William Ward was awarded his PhD by Michigan State University, and spent the following thirty years moving back and forth between academia and multilateral finance and development organizations. He has played an integral role in translating global trends in development theory prescriptions into institutional policy. He has trained officials from institutions such as the Asian Development Bank and the International Finance Corporation, and worked as a consultant for organizations such as the UNDP, the OECD and many more. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Applied Economics and Statistics at Clemson University.
