*Baraza: A Swahili gathering held to raise awareness and share collective wisdom. A baraza is a social affair where current events are discussed, knowledge is built, and relationships forged.
Program will include:

Presentations by the directors of the East African Center: Kate Crowley (MA International Affairs, GPIA) Kenya Program Director, Jen Hill (MA International Affairs, GPIA) US Program Director and Emma Nierman Executive Director EAC.

Speakers will discuss how contemporary development trends such as public-private partnerships, transparency, sustainability, and capacity building look on the ground, and give insight into how one small organization is achieving big results in Eastern Kenya.
