Bio


Edith recently decided to go back to school in the interest of making a career change from Sales and Marketing to the field of International Affairs. Back in 2006, she obtained a certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University and acquired a passion to learn more about community based nonprofit organizations. For several years, Edith worked as a volunteer with an International Community Development Corporation which focused on economic development issues affecting Africa. This past summer, she participated in the GPIA International Field Program and worked in Hong Kong, as a Project Manager/ Research Intern for an urban activist. Edith is an active member of Project Africa and her research interests include the following: Sustainable Development, Social Policy, and Child Rights.
