NSOS 3510: Global Cities in Perspective: Berlin [Online]
TOPIC: YOUTH CULTURE AND EXTREMISM IN POST-UNIFICATION BERLIN
Bringing together the course's online students for the very first time, we first discuss the merits and limitations of online teaching and learning and then, factually, discuss youth culture, deviance, and extremism in Berlin since its unification in 1990. Of particular interest hereby is xenophobia and the (re)emergence of right-wing extremism in contemporary Germany.
