Erin McCandless
Erin McCandless (Ph.D. American University) scholar, practitioner and policy advisor focused on peacebuilding, statebuilding and development. She has close to twenty years experience, over nine years in conflict and post-conflict recovery contexts globally, with in-depth experience in Africa. She has authored over fifty publications, including three books - on social movements and change in Zimbabwe, peace reserach methods, and a reader on peacebuidling and development in Africa. Her areas of specialization include: peacebuilding and development related strategic frameworks, conflict sensitivity, inter-agency and UN Mission coordination, civil-society-government and donor relations, governance related capacity-building, addressing post-conflict war economy challenges, poverty reduction strategy processes, evaluation methods – in particular peace, conflict impact assessment related. |
