Free Arts NYC provides under-served children and families with a unique combination of educational arts and mentoring programs that help them to foster the self-confidence and resiliency needed to realize their fullest potential. The Weekly Mentor Program provides caring, supportive role models for at risk youth ages 6-18, mentors lead participants in creating and discussing art during weekly sessions to help them strengthen critical outlets, increase their self esteem, build confidence, and develop positive, trusting relationships with adult mentors.
