Other Sources of Financial Aid
Boren Fellowship: U.S. citizens matriculated or accepted into a U.S. advanced degree program, planning to study a particular world region or country are eligible to apply. The program should last for at least 8 weeks. Funding is $24,000 for overseas study. Application deadline is January 29, 2009.
Unfortunately not every IFP is eligible for funding. There are particular countries that are listed for fellowship eligibility. Language study in the Spring does not qualify for funding. More information can be obtained here.
