The Working World has been supporting Argentina's worker-run recovered factories and businesses through microfinance since 2004. Working World President and Co-Founder Brendan Martin will talk about the emergence of Argentina's co-operative movement out of the wreckage of the 2001-2002 economic crisis, ways that microcredit can be used to support work-place democracy and alternative forms of economic development and about the experience of setting up an international development NGO.
