American Society for Muslim Advancement

ASMA is a New York-based, nonprofit organization that attempts to build bridges between the American Muslim community and the general American public. ASMA is dedicated to strengthening an authentic expression of Islam based on cultural and religious harmony through interfaith collaboration, youth and women's empowerment, and arts and cultural exchange.

The ASMA internship program provides undergraduates and graduate students the opportunity to gain substantive work experience in a fast-paced, high-profile, non-governmental organization (NGO). Interns will be given serious responsibilities, and will engage in tasks that require collaborative efforts across the selected intern group as well as with full-time employees.

Designed to cultivate, the internship program has allowed our interns to film a documentary, observe CNN interviews, attend our Global WISE Conference in Turkey, and much, much more.

Further application information and internship position details can be found at: http://www.asmasociety.org/internships/index.html

Applicants should submit the required internship application form, along with a cover letter, resume and short writing sample, to Dominic@asmasociety.org. Candidates should ideally submit applications no later than January 7th for the Spring Internship.
