Country Context: Kosovo is a post-conflict society, as big as Connecticut, with 2 million inhabitants, and tens of thousands NATO peacekeeping troops, UN civilian and police officers, EU civilian monitors, including judges and police, and an International Civilian Representative with Bonn Powers, or the power to overrule local government. It offers the unique opportunity to study peacekeeping and state-building.

Students interested in security, peacekeeping, state-building, conflict-resolution.
