Sunrise in the Ganges

Photographer: Silvana Gramajo Barboni
Sunrise in the Ganges
India
An early morning in May, we went to see the sun being born above the Ganges. There were bodies burning next to the river; fisher men trying to get their first catch of the day; and people of all ages bathing in the holy waters of the Godess Ganga.

The Love of Football

The Love of Football
Ethiopia
We had been traveling village by village in the north of Ethiopia in order to collect honey samples. In one of the villages we stopped by I have seen children playing football with a sewed ball. Once I took out my camera, they came and fought each other in order to be in the frame. And of course they didn't forget the ball.
