GPIA Presents

Contexts Release Party!

Wednesday, October 22
7 - 9 p.m.
GPIA Conference Room
66 W 12th St., Room 609

Come mingle with fellow students and faculty over drinks and snacks all in the name of Contexts, the yearly student-run journal of GPIA. This year's soiree is being held in the conference room in the GPIA offices (room 609), again, from 7 to 9 pm. Basically if you know where your mailboxes are, you know where the party is.

Here are some incentives for those on the fence:

  • Free journals!!! With this year's theme of 'Imagination,' we've gone full color and glossy. Come grab one, then go home impressed.
  • Rub shoulders with the me, the editor, some of the staff, and some of the writers who are featured in this issue. If I say so myself, we're pretty great people.
  • Well, there are the free drinks and finger food. Those count as incentives.
  • This is an opportunity to answer those ever-hovering questions most grad students have: What are other people writing about? What are other people interested in? And other quandaries of that nature.
  • Also, the 22nd will mark the launch of Contexts' website, so come raise your glass to a substantial increase of GPIA's presence on the web.
  • Other possible goodies of substance, but are neither food nor drink. (There has to be a surprise of sorts, right?)
